However, roots of trees and invasive plants often cause damage to road infrastructure such as sidewalks, bicycle paths but also utility lines and even foundations of buildings.
A flexible triple coated impermeable woven PE geotextile with a high puncture resistance of up to 4.5 kN is the ideal solution to prevent such damage. It can be applied both horizontally and vertically and controls the root growth of trees and plants.
The use of such geotextiles allows for more fresh air and more enjoyable and healthier cities while protecting expensive infrastructure for many years to come.
